  • Let mud on Forge 415.20-W dry before brushing it away, then wipe the calf-leather boot with a soft damp cloth.
  • Work a little neutral or colour-matched cream into the clean leather and buff around, rather than across, the lace eyelets.
  • Loosen the full lace run before putting the boot on, taking it off or storing it, so the tongue and quarters are not pulled out of shape.
  • Remove the footbed used that day and stand it beside the boot overnight, keeping the second supplied insole dry until required.
  • Allow a wet boot to dry slowly with its tongue open, away from fires, radiators and heated floors.
  • Build up wear across the first 48 hours after selecting the insole and lacing arrangement you intend to use.
  • Give the leather interior an unworn day after two consecutive days of use, particularly when the boots have been worn for long periods.
  • If sensation is reduced, inspect both feet after the first indoor sessions and pause wear while contacting us if a persistent change is visible.

Forge 415.20-W: A Lace-Up Boot Built Around an Orthotic

Choose Forge 415.20-W when an ankle-height lace-up is preferred to a touch-fastening boot and internal depth is needed for a suitable prescribed orthotic. Two removable footbeds let you alter the available depth before fitting your own insole, while the laces can be adjusted separately across the instep and ankle.

Orthotic-Compatible Setup
Remove the supplied footbed before fitting a suitable prescribed insole and adjust the laces around the resulting volume.

The H-last construction provides additional internal height from the heel through the toe area.
Extra-Wide Forefoot
