Kendal (TDO 902-K-M) is a men’s 4E wide-and-deep orthopaedic shoe built on TDO Therapy’s K last. Its additional width and internal depth provide generous space across the forefoot and instep for a higher-volume fit.

Two broad hook-and-loop straps can be adjusted separately, allowing the fit to be altered across different areas of the foot. The smooth black leather upper opens widely for easier entry, and the rounded toe maintains useful space at the front of the shoe.

A cushioned rocker-bottom sole completes this roomier Kendal model with a supportive base for everyday wear.

  • Wide-and-deep 4E fitting on the K last
  • Extra internal space across the forefoot and instep
  • Smooth black leather upper
  • Two independently adjustable hook-and-loop straps
  • Wide opening for easier entry
  • Rounded toe shape
  • Cushioned rocker-bottom sole

If you are unsure whether the 4E fitting is right for you, please contact our Farnham fitting team before ordering.

  • Upper: Smooth black calf leather
  • Lining: Seam-free full leather
  • Depth: K-last depth over the toes; removable insole for an orthotic
  • Fitting: Wide and deep 4E, built on the K last
  • Closure: Two broad touch-fasten straps, adjusted separately
  • Sole: Cushioned PU rocker-bottom sole; firm heel and arch, limited forefoot flex
  • Insole: Removable 6 mm insole

  • Remove everyday dirt from Kendal 902-K-M with a barely damp cloth, working around the edges of both broad straps.
  • Restore the black calf-leather finish with a light application of matching polish followed by gentle buffing.
  • During the first few wears, adjust the forefoot and instep fastenings separately rather than pulling both to the same position by habit.
  • Rotate this pair with another shoe where possible, allowing the full leather lining to air before it is worn again.
  • Protect the rocker-bottom unit and upper from soaking, heavy rain and snow; a damp pair should dry slowly in a ventilated room.
  • Store both straps loosely closed so exposed hook-and-loop does not gather fibres or catch the lining.
  • Air the removable 6 mm insole outside the shoe after a long day, making sure it is seated flat when returned.
  • If the wearer has reduced foot sensation, check for redness or other visible changes after initial use and stop wearing the pair if any appear.

Kendal 902-K-M: The Wide-Opening Kendal in a 4E Fitting

Choose Kendal 902-K-M if you want the easy entry and two-point adjustment of the 6E Kendal in a lower-volume 4E fitting. The removable 6 mm footbed leaves space for a compatible orthotic, while the rounded K-last front preserves a conventional appearance.

The Kendal Opening, Sized Down
The upper opens as wide as the 6E Kendal, but the last underneath is the 4E K last — extra width and internal depth without the extra bulk.
Two Broad Straps, Adjusted Separately
The forefoot and instep straps are set on their own, so a higher-volume instep and a slimmer forefoot are both fitted.
Toe Shape with Space
The toe is rounded rather than tapered, so the front of the shoe keeps its space.
Smooth Black Calf Leather
A plain black upper that wipes clean, lined throughout in unstitched leather.
6 mm Insole That Lifts Out
Lift the footbed out and an orthotic has the K last's depth to itself.
Cushioned Rocker-Bottom Sole
The cushioned sole curves beneath the forefoot to provide a rolling profile through the step. The heel and arch stay firm for support, while the forefoot allows a small amount of flex.

How can TDO Therapy shoes help with foot problems?

TDO Therapy shoes are designed to provide enhanced comfort, support and protection for a wide range of foot needs. Whether you are looking for greater everyday comfort or footwear to accommodate changing foot shape, swelling, orthotics or other foot-related concerns, our shoes combine carefully considered features to support easier, more comfortable movement. Our range includes different fits and constructions for people who need more room, adjustability or flexibility than conventional footwear may provide.

  • Triple-Layer Technology: Our unique triple-layer construction combines natural leather, cushioning memory foam and a soft inner lining. It adapts to the feet throughout the day, providing lasting cushioning, comfort and protection against rubbing and pressure.
  • Even Pressure Distribution: The orthopaedic sole helps distribute pressure more evenly across the foot, reducing stress on sensitive areas.
  • Comfortable, Accommodating Fit: Wider fittings, adjustable fastenings, removable footbeds and deeper designs offer different ways to accommodate individual fitting requirements and compatible orthotics.
  • Breathable Natural Leather: Soft, breathable leather encourages airflow, helping feet remain cool and comfortable.
  • Shock Absorption: The cushioned sole helps soften impact and support more comfortable walking.
  • Removable Insoles: Insoles can be removed or replaced with custom orthotics where required.
  • Seamless Interior: A smooth interior helps minimise friction and irritation against sensitive skin.
  • Antibacterial Protection: Antibacterial-treated materials help maintain a fresher and more hygienic environment inside the shoe.
